Suite Lady Diana
Two striking carved wood lanterns were the inspiration for this room in which everything bears echoes of Venice, the lagoon and its magical colours and reflections which are evoked by the carved rose mirror on the chest of drawers, which also reflects the painting of the marvellous Lady Diana, who loved and was a frequent visitor to this city.
A small lounge has been created at the foot of the bed, with two small, aquamarine velvet armchairs and a Chesterfield sofa. This cosy space has echoes of the conversations of Venice's cultural salons.
Two large gilded brass “palms” provide the base for the two wonderful lamps on each side of the bed.
